Collection Zones & Schedules
Monday Route – Zone 1 – The area south and west of the intersection of Front Street and Route 6, including both sides of Route 6 (Center & Converse Road Area). Collection will be made between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
Tuesday Route – Zone 2 – The area south and east of the intersection of Front Street and Route 6, including both sides of Route 6 and all of the East Marion Area up to the Point Road lights including Delano Road and side streets. Collection will be made between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Friday Route – Zone 3 – The North Marion Area including all of Route 105 (including side streets), Spring Street Extension, Mill Street Extension, County Road (including all side streets), Point Road from County Road to Route 6 (including all side streets & River’s Edge) and Route 6 from the Point Road lights to the Weweanic Bridge (including all side streets). Collection will be made between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
MONDAY HOLIDAY – Rubbish collection will be one day later for Monday and Tuesday routes when there is a Monday Holiday – Tuesday for Center & Converse Road areas Wednesday for East Marion Area. Friday will remain the same for North Marion area.
FRIDAY HOLIDAY – Rubbish for the Friday route will be picked up on the Thursday before the holiday when it falls on Friday.
RECYCLING HOLIDAY CHANGES – When a holiday falls on a recycling Wednesday, recycling will be picked up the following day (Thursday).
